Introducing singer, musician and Anti Agency Model Rina Sawayama.
Rina was born in Japan and raised in London from the age of four. She graduated from Cambridge with a degree in Politics in 2012.
Realising her passion for music and the arts she became lead singer in the band Lazy Lion alongside Theo Ellis of Wolf Alice. Her first single “Sleeping in Waking” received acclaim from the likes of BBC Radio 1’s Zane Lowe and Radio 6’s Marianne Hobbs to name a few.
Rina has since signed with Anti Agency who pride themselves on the representation of models with additional varied and diverse creative interests. She has subsequetanly featured in numerous publications including Pop, iD, Dazed + Confused, Vice, Idol, Hunger, Schon and Nylon Japan magazine as well as shot campaigns for Monki, Lazy Oaf, Illustrated People, Juju Footwear, Ally Capellino and Nasty Gal.
It was a pleasure to have worked with her and to continue to see her wearing and complementing her chosen EFFRA collection pieces.
